Did you know that  many GP surgerys in the
UK have 0 staff trained in menopause?

Despite it affecting 50% of the population, GPs don't necessarily have to have ANY training in menopause or women's hormonal health.

Menopause is normal. Having access to a health professional who understands hormonal health should be too.

We want every GP surgery in the UK to have at least one staff person trained in menopause and women’s hormonal health.

If you want that too, join us in our campaign!

Why are we (sometimes) hot...
and definitely bothered?

At the moment, GPs (and other staff in their surgery) have no requirement to be trained on hormonal health - including perimenopause and menopause.

No one thinks this is a good thing.

Doctors

77.5% of GPs think there should be more training on menopause.

A senior UK coroner said “I was surprised to learn that menopausal training is not mandatory in any area of clinical practice or specialism….I am concerned that there is no requirement to undertake essential compulsory menopausal training for those working in relevant clinical practices.”

Women

Across the country, thousands of women from Blackpool to Essex are asking for GP services to have a person who has this training.

All females

Hormonal health affects everything.  Teenage years, pregnancy and post partum health, perimenopause and menopause. It affects every cell in your body - your heart, brain and bones as well as your reproductive system.
